GOORAM BUSHFIRE RECOVERY

Resources for everyone in Gooram, especially those affected by the 2026 Longwood bushfire.

Introduction

Welcome to the Gooram Recovery website. These resources are for everyone in Gooram, especially those affected by the 2026 Longwood bushfire. This website will help you navigate and access the most up-to-date information as we continue together on the recovery process. We’ve sifted through the relevant resources, answered frequently asked questions (FAQs), provided supporting links to websites, downloads, organisations and shared information about paths forward.

It covers everything from waste disposal, to tree clearing, to fence repair, to grant information, to managing mental health and wellbeing and for those of us who are able to, how to help others. While we’re working hard to give everyone the most relevant and accurate resources to save people time and effort and point them in the right direction, it’s still important to confirm the information is right for you. Get independent advice, especially if you’re making financial decisions. And if it’s not already on here, or if it needs an update, please let us know!
